About the shop

Tom Meadows began his apprenticeship servicing Ferrari, Maserati and Lamborghini automobiles at Prevedello's Auto Repair in San Jose California in 1972.  The starting wage of $6.75 an hour was more than offset by getting paid to drive new Daytonas and 246 Dinos.  This passion for Ferraris continued through his six years of university level education in Industrial Technology and engineering, which ultimately funded his 1963 250 GTE which he drove vigorously for thirteen most excellent years

He subsequently worked in many shops, most notably Ferrari of Los Gatos and Tony Krivanek's Vintage Racing Service  Fiat 8V restoration shop in Van Nuys,California. He founded Marelli Service 16 years ago and Marelli Service is the only  agency in the world dedicated exclusively to the restoration and service of Magneti Marelli distributors 

Tom has an extensive background in concours judging and has judged motorcycles and coachbuilt Italian cars for the last  eight years at Pebble Beach, and has been published in both the Ferrari Market Letter and Cavallino magazine.
